A two-in-one grass-trimmer/brushcutter supplied with a line head and three-tooth metal blade, the Alpina ABR 45 D is a versatile machine that’s just as effective putting the post-mowing finishing touches as it is clearing areas of dense, well established brush and scrub.
The 44.8cc engine on the ABR 45 D utilises cutting-edge combustion technology that works to maximise power-output, whilst cutting the emission of exhaust pollutants by 60% and reducing fuel consumption by 20%. An auto-return switch combines with a fuel-primer and auto-choke system to make the starting process fast, reliable and hassle-free.
The ABR 45 D comes equipped with a ‘bike’ handlebar; the type preferred by garden professionals, due to the enhanced control and manoeuvrability they provide (the handle is adjustable for comfort and can be positioned for space-saving storage).
Made from special materials, this model’s transmission shaft is lightweight, but nevertheless exceptionally robust. Commercial-grade gearing extends product life and ensures excellent torque transfer; while Bump & Work means the heavy-duty 3mm cutting-line is advanced by simply tapping the trimmer head on the ground.
